The Fourth Edition of the ICCC was held virtually in 2022.

In 2022, the fourth edition themed A Cybersecurity Driven Digital Economy for Africa was held virtually. There were four panel sessions with top leaders as speakers including Peter Ezo , the CIO of Zenith Pensions, Toba Obaniyi, CEO of Whogohost, Umar Sa’ad, Vice President of CSEAN and Dr Markie Idowu, MD of Xpress Payments. There were four panel sessions in total:

1. Blockchain and the Security of Digital currencies
2. Cloud security as it relates to the digital economy of Africa
3. Empowering Africans to fill the global cybersecurity shortage
4. Challenges of transnational coordination and collaboration

The underlying theme was that developing a cybersecurity-driven digital economy in Africa involves investing in robust cybersecurity infrastructure, fostering digital literacy, promoting local tech innovation, and collaborating with global partners to ensure a secure online environment that encourages economic growth and innovation.
