Gbolabo is a Business Information Systems & Enterprise Security Architect with almost 2 decades’ experience in the design, development and management of secure Information Systems and Enterprise infrastructure. He’s a Technology Strategist and Business Executive with hands-on expertise in the design and delivery of high-performance Information Technology and Business Process Improvement Solutions to address complex business problems

Based on his expertise in running successful Information Security programs, strategic awareness, and extensive grasp of the real business of Technology Management, Gbolabo has been able to increase profitability and business value of some of the top electronic payment firms and financial institutions in Nigeria.

He is currently the Country Manager | Chief Technology Officer at Infoprive, a Cybersecurity Company with extensive expertise in Information Security Advisory & Compliance Management, Security Engineering, and also a Managed Security Service arm (esentry) that provides, Monitoring, Incident Response & Threat Hunting, Digital Forensics, Threat Intelligence and Offensive Security services. He was formerly Group Head, Technology & Security Management at Unified Payments where he provided Technology vision and leadership in developing and implementing robust and secure technology infrastructure to support distributed and centralized business operations. He was also the CTO | CISO at Coronation Merchant Bank where he was responsible for driving business growth and ensuring continuous service availability by leveraging on financial technology, process automation and running best in class Cyber Security initiatives.

Prior to joining Coronation Merchant Bank, Gbolabo was Head, Application & Database Security Management at United Bank for Africa. He was also the Head of Information Systems & Security Management at the Interswitch Group. He’s a Certified Chief Information Security Officer, Business Continuity Management Specialist and a FinTech | Blockchain enthusiast.

Gbolabo holds several industry certifications including C|CISO, CISM, CHFI, COBIT 5, ISO Certified Lead Implementer (27001, 22301, and 20000), in addition to a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering from the Lagos State University, an MBA from Rome Business School, and Harvard Executive Education in Cybersecurity. Gbolabo serves as a Consultant for LSETF (Lagos state), Sothes Group (Cyberxchange Conference) and Advisor Board member of several Fintech and Digital Technology startups.
